21st September, Saturday - off we go

Basil is the blogger today. 

A boring day of travel, definately not. 

We started at 5am with a quick breakfast - it was cold and raining. The taxi was early so we had no pressure. 

The day ended with this. 

So was it boring, I would say not.

Of course the girls did some shopping. 

OR Tambo 5°, real feel 1°. It was miserable but we found a diner and had a coffee and snack. 

The Air Maritius flight was great. Smooth and good meal only 4 hours. Of course we lost 2 hours going east so only arrived at 8pm - dark of course. 

The coach took us to our hotel about 1.5 hours. Couldn't see much but roads were good with round abouts everywhere. Checked in about 10.30 local time and they served us dinner around the pool. Amazing. 

A lovely spot.

Grand tour tomorrow, beach across the road.
